Emergency Ride Home
If you commute at least two to three times per week, using
an alternative mode of transportation such as vanpooling, carpooling or
public transit you can qualify for the Emergency Ride Home Program. This
program is your back up plan in the event of an illness or unexpected
overtime. Once you have registered with the program, you can be reimbursed
for the expense of your ride home if one of these situations arise.
The Emergency Ride Home Program is a service of the
Florida Department of Transportation District 5 regional commuter program,
called reThink. Please be sure to
register with reThink and enroll!
